Bulk validations for event days

If you're hosting an event and want to validate dozens of guests at once, you have a couple of options.

Option 1: Pre-load plates by CSV

1. Open Validate → Bulk Issue in the Group Admin Portal.
2. Download the CSV template.
3. Fill it in: one row per guest. Columns: plate, state, start, end, discount, notes.
4. Upload. The system creates one validation per row and gives you a summary of successes and failures.

Option 2: Open a "validation window" for the event

• Some plans support an event-mode validation: any plate parked at the venue during the window is automatically validated (no plate list needed).
• This is only available if your plan has this configuration. Contact your Level Parking account manager to set it up before the event.

Best practices for events

• Send your guests a heads-up. Let them know they don't need to pay at the lot — your validation covers them. Otherwise some will pay anyway.
• Set realistic windows. A 2-hour window for a 90-minute event leaves room for early arrivals and slow departures.
• Triple-check plates in the CSV. A typo means one guest gets a violation.
